EMBRACE MENTAL WELLNESS

Professional Counseling and Support Services

Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love, belonging, and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”― Brene Brown

With a commitment to excellence, we offer compassionate support in a confidential and safe environment. Trust us to guide your journey towards mental well-being.I strongly believe in counseling as a way to help with one's well-being. As a trauma survivor and domestic violence survivor, I advocate for client's voices. Being a client for years, the experience has helped me relate better with my clients and accompany them along the journey of healing or self-discovery.I believe in holistic well-being. Work, life, mental health, food, shelter, art, music, coping skills, friends, family, etc, are part of life and can impact our lives differently. I endeavor to help clients find their balance, meet them where they are, and help them walk the journey together. In the session, My goal as a counselor is to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and kind atmosphere to build a trusting relationship with my client. I apply a collaborative approach and work with my client throughout counseling, self-discovery, and healing.I believe in a client-centered approach to better serve my clients and help them reach their potential.

Mr JK is the best mentor I had so far. I had the privilege of being supervised and working alongside Mr JK during my internship period. He was a very supportive and encouraging supervisor. His guidance and support has helped me develop more confidence in my counselling journey. His faith and trust in me allowed me to expand and grow my skills and knowledge and he is there to support and give me feedback. Mr JK is very knowledgeable and experienced in counselling skills and knowledge, crisis management and case management. His joyful and friendly personality makes him friendly, easily approachable and likeable. I do hope to work with him again in the future!

Q&A

1. What happened after I fill up the form?
Answer: We will reach out to you to coordinate an appointment.

2. What is the duration and frequency of the therapy?
Answer:
It depends on the nature of your concern. It depends on your availability, your pace and your financial status. I will always discuss this part of the therapy with my client to come out with a plan that is catered toward what could work for me and the client considering the effectiveness of the healing journey and therapy session. Respecting client's concerns and decision on this part is essentially important.

If you have concern about this, kindly personal message and we can have a chat.

3. What is the mode of the therapy?
Answer:
At the moment, we provide online counselling session via online platform; however, if you wish to opt for physical session, we can discuss about the arrangement.

If you have any other concern, you can reach out to us via whatapps 0129722088 or email cohenjkathelp@gmail.com
